The Space Hippie delivers a trash transformation in a new edition. From the upper to the outsole, the Space Hippie 04 is made from at least 25% recycled material by weight. Not only is it the lightest shoe in the collection, but it also has the smallest carbon footprint. The "Space Waste Yarn" upper is made from approximately 75% recycled material by weight - from recycled plastic bottles, t-shirts, and yarn scraps. A soft Crater Foam midsole combines Nike Grind with a blend of different foams for more stability and a unique aesthetic. The FlyKnit upper (with approximately 75% recycled material by weight) consists of elastic, lightweight yarns made from industrial and post-consumer waste that add some color to your style. The inner bootie design provides a snug, comfortable running experience. Nike Grind rubber adds some color splashes to the Crater foam midsole. This minimalist approach created the look and feel of a prototype from the future, whose performance you simply have to experience for yourself.
