With adidas Originals x SpongeBob SquarePants, a pop culture icon meets two classics from the adidas archives. Instead of loud all-over prints, the collaboration focuses on character-based details and clear references to the world of Bikini Bottom.
Two Models, Two Characters
The Stan Smith Leisure "SpongeBob" interprets SpongeBob's iconic black lace-up shoes as a clean, almost monochromatic look: black (shiny) leather, light accents, and subtle character details create the connection without making the shoe look overloaded.
The Patrick Superstar, on the other hand, takes on Patrick Star's signature color scheme and combines it with typical Superstar elements. The design is complemented by collaboration-specific details that make the character clearly recognizable.
Pop Culture Meets Originals
